Shorewood improves volleyball record going into Sept. 26 game with Shorecrest with 3-0 home victory over Mountlake Terrace Monday

Shorewood improved its Wesco 3A volleyball record to 1-1 (2-2 overall) going into a Monday, Sept. 26, home game with Shorecrest, with a 3-0 home victory over Mountlake Terrace Monday, Sept. 19.

The Thunderbirds and Shorecrest meet at 7 p.m. Monday.

Marianne Kellogg's 26 assists and Stephanie Vollbroecht's 10 kills led Shorewood's 3-0 sweep of Mountlake Terrace. The Thunderbirds, who took the sets 27-25, 25-23 and 25-17, also had nine kills from Madison Welsh and 14 digs from Dana Brindle.
