Children and Families

Pajamarama Story Times
Wednesday, September 7, 14, 21 and 28, 7pm
All young children welcome with parent or caregiver.
Wear your pjs and join us for books, stories and songs!

Toddler Story Times
Thursday, September 8, 15, 22 and 29, 10:15am
Ages 24 to 36 months with adult, siblings welcome.
Join us for books, finger plays, stories and songs just for toddlers!

Preschool Story Times
Thursday, September 8, 15, 22 and 29, 11am
Ages 3 to 6 with adult, siblings welcome.
Enjoy stories, rhymes, music and movement with other preschool pals. This is a great way to get your child ready to read!


Teens

Teen Talk Time
Wednesday, September 7, 14, 21 and 28, 4-6pm
Improve speaking and listening skills in this English conversation group for students in middle, high school and college. Refreshments provided by the Friends of the Richmond Beach Library.

Game On! and Mural Project
Thursday, September 22, 4pm
The Game On/Mural Project (GOMP) is video gaming and manga art for 5th-12th graders! Gamers and artists in middle and high school play multi-player video games and create full-wall mural. Games may include Wii, DDR, Guitar Hero, Cooking Mama and others. Bring your talents to the library and get GOMP!

Evening Book Discussion

Bead Demonstration
Saturday, September 17, 1pm
Eve Phillips and other artists from the Northwest Bead Society will create beautiful handmade beads to inspire the artist within!

Cheap Bastards Guide to Seattle
Monday, September 19, 7pm
Author David Volk shares some of the information from his new book by the same title.

ESL Classes
Tuesdays, 6:30-8:30pm
Saturdays, 10am-Noon
September 20-December 17
No class on October 22, 25 and 29.
Learning English? Come to free classes twice a week at the library!
