Puget Sound Blood Mobile in Lake Forest Park September 8

Saturday, September 3, 2011

The Blood Mobile will be at the Lower Level of the LFP Town Center, from 11am to 5pm (lunch break 1pm-2pm), on Thursday, September 8. No appointments are necessary and drop ins are welcome!

It takes 900 people, registering every weekday, to keep our community’s blood supply at stable levels. Summer activities sometimes prevent donors from making a visit to donate blood, but the need is always constant.

Each blood donation is a gift of life, potentially saving three lives. Blood donations not only help those who have suffered trauma, they also help cancer, surgery patients, premature babies and others who cannot live without the support of volunteer blood donors.

Donors must be 18 years of age, be in good health, and weigh over 110 pounds. Donating blood takes about an hour of your time. Please consider stopping by the Blood Mobile on Thursday and giving the gift of life.
