September in Richmond Highlands!!

Candidate Social
The Richmond Highlands Neighborhood Association is pleased to sponsor a Candidate Social on Tuesday, September 20th

Join us at 7pm as we welcome candidates running for City Council and the School Board. This is your chance to meet them in person, ask questions, and get a sense of who they are before watching them in action at the candidate forums! Kids are welcome – we'll have cookies and coffee…

The RHNA meets on the 4th Tuesday of the month at the Richmond Highlands Recreation Center, 16544 Fremont Avenue North (just south of Shorewood High School).

Grand Re-Opening
On Monday, September 12 from 5:00-6:30 pm, we will be celebrating the re-opening of the Richmond Highlands Rec Center, which has been closed for renovations.

There will be a formal ceremony at 5:15 pm, followed by demonstrations by dog training, Karate and teen user groups, information about Rec programs and snacks.

Come and find out what goes on in this building, who uses it, and what an asset this historic building is. We hope you can join us for this celebration of one more great thing in our neighborhood!

PARTy @ Sunset
Find your inner artist at the Sunset pARTy! on Saturday, September 17, from 10-2 pm at the Sunset School property at 17800 10th Ave NW.

With the expert guidance of local artist Mona Fairbanks, Shoreline neighbors of all ages will join together to create a beautiful community art installation to spruce up our future Sunset Park.

Come by for lunch, buy something sweet from the Shorewood Drill Team, catch up with your neighbors, and grab a paintbrush!

Visit the Friends of Sunset park website to see and comment on the project designs!

Sponsored by the Richmond Highlands Neighborhood Association and the Friends of Sunset Park with the support of a City of Shoreline Neighborhood Mini-Grant.
