Market Square apartments on target to open Spring 2012

The 148-unit Market Square Apartments is under construction on the west side of Aurora between N 200th and N 205th, across the street from Costco. 

A project of Weidner Apartment Homes, which builds, manages, and owns apartments throughout the United States and Canada, the general contractor is Synergy Construction, based in Woodinville.

Greg Sparhawk, Weidner's lead architect, said the project is moving along pretty smoothly. He expects the grand opening and ribbon cutting to take place in spring of 2012. The apartments will be leasing around that time as well.

Sparhawk said that the quality of the building and the proximity to public transportation will be attractive to future tenants.

A Starbucks next door and Costco across the street probably won't hurt, either.
