LFP Police Blotter August 1 to 7, 2011 - just another week in the neighborhood

Property damage
8-1 173xx Beach Dr NE, park. Graffiti similar to style of AAUM.
8-5 160xx 37 NE. Graffiti, BASK.
8-5 158xx 38 NE. Graffiti, BASK.
8-7 170xx 37 NE. Graffiti on garage door.

Burglary
8-2 187xx 50 NE. Screen is off window, front door unlocked. Missing $500 in coins, plus collector coins from closet.

Car prowl
8-7 191xx Ballinger. Car prowl. Took a laptop, netbook.

But we know who you are now
8-1 160xx 34 NE. Man saw vehicle pull into his driveway. When he went outside, they left. He followed, called 911. Man said that everything that had been under a tarp in his backyard had been moved by the fence - generator, tools, machinery. Officer talked to the two men but there was nothing stolen on their truck and nothing stolen from the backyard.

It's about who you know
8-1 33xx NE 202. Front door kicked open. Nothing missing. Her mailbox was blown up recently. Going through a divorce. Worried about her cats.
8-2 33xx NE 202. Found work gloves next to jewelry box. Cat is missing.
8-2 195xx 40 Pl NE. Woman says that two days ago her tires were slashed and obscenities written in dust on car. Received phone call from man she doesn't know who is upset with her for ratting him out in a drug deal. Thinks that family members may be involved.

Found
8-2 170xx Brookside Blvd NE. Man gone for weekend, returned to find someone's clothing on his front steps. Shorts had cash and ID in pocket. ID belongs to a person who previously had a mental hold.

You'll be old some day
8-3 192xx 35 NE. Caller saw a 90 year old woman walking down the street in her pink nightgown.

Or maybe not
8-4 NE 178/Brookside Blvd NE. Report of a 4-5 year old boy who keeps crossing 178th, forcing cars to slam on their brakes.

Frisky?
8-2 26xx NE 195 apartments. Two neighbors called in about disturbance in neighboring apartment. Woman screaming, swearing, banging noises, crying. Officer didn't hear anything and husband and wife appear normal except wife had facial treatment on. They said they were "frisky" and knocked a picture frame off wall and it broke.

NOISE - we HATE NOISE
8-2 36xx NE 155, apartments. Noise complaint about loud music. Manager unaware of problem but the same person complained in April. No one was home at the "noisy" apartment.
8-4 26xx NE 195. Neighbor is screaming at his bird.
8-4 173xx Beach Dr. Report of drunken juveniles on the dock. Officer found no one in park or dock. People are at the Civic Club.
8-5 36xx NE 155, apartments. Noise complaint. Tenant fell asleep with TV on. Tenant is moving to a different unit this weekend.
8-5 148xx Bothell Way, Watercrest. Noisy party.

Good thing the dog was noisy
8-4 26xx NE 195, apartments. Dog barking. No contact at door. Owner is in jail. Will notify manager in the morning, and KC Animal Control.

Not fond of reckless driving, either
8-2 153xx Bothell Way. Report of Ford Mustang doing donuts in intersection. Area check negative.

Juveniles
8-2 33xx BE 163. Juvenile female was in car full of juveniles from under-aged drinking party who were picked up last week on July 28. Now she can't find her iPhone, so she reported it stolen and needs a police report to get a replacement. Mother not happy with daughter's selective information to her.
8-5 167xx 39 Pl NE. Teenager prowling back yard. Officer contacted - he was looking for his dogs.
8-5 170xx Bothell Way. Report of juveniles at Log Book Park firing pellet guns.

Hmmm
8-5 LFP. Man received 20 calls form different numbers. Caller has Indian accent and wants information on one of man's employees.
8-6 Deja Vu. Customer said bouncers threw him to ground. Manager said that customer had $270 of dances, didn't pay, and tried to unzip his pants. He tried to leave and the bouncers tried to detain him. Customer is in parking lot with pants partly unzipped.. Trespassed.
8-6 153xx Bothell Way. Caller said there was a man lying on the ground. He's ok, just waiting to see his girl friend at the complex.
8-7 170xx Brookside. Caller found male and female in his car. Police took them into custody.

It's political season in LFP
8-7 178xx 40 NE. Man got home to find 50 political signs lining his driveway, and in his and his neighbor's yards. Police said to put them out front and they would direct people to pick them up there.
