Citizens are invited to stop by the Boeing and Storm Creek Basin Plans Open House at Shoreline City Hall, Wednesday September 14, 2011, 6:30 to 8pm.
The City’s Surface Water Utility is conducting a study of the Boeing and Storm Creek drainage basins in the near future to identify drainage, water quality, and stream habitat issues in these basins and potential management strategies to address the identified issues. In addition, the City will be assessing the condition of the subsurface stormwater conveyance system (storm pipe network) in each basin.
To see the geography of the basins and the affected neighborhoods*, visit the project webpage.
At the Open House at City Hall on Wednesday September 14, City Staff will explain the basin planning elements, schedule, and receive input of issues/problems in the drainage basins that should be assessed in the studies.
If you are unable to attend the Open House and would like to provide input, email or call Brian Landau, Surface Water and Environmental Services Manager, 206-801-2451
Shoreline City Hall is located at 17500 Midvale Avenue North.
