Accident on Richmond Beach Road

According to King County Sheriff's spokesman John Urquhart, on Tuesday afternoon, September 6, about 4:10pm, a 2008 GMC Yukon was westbound on NW 200th, went through a stop sign and hit a 1999 Ford Expedition that was southbound on 3rd NW.

The driver of the Yukon, a 50 year-old Seattle man, and the driver of the Expedition, a 41 year-old Mountlake Terrace man, were both taken to Harborview Medical Center in serious condition.

Residents reported that the road was closed for several hours while police investigated the accident.
