Summer has finally arrived! At least, for more than a day.
For the week ahead:
There is a strong storm off the coast that may bring some rain showers to us by tomorrow afternoon/ evening. It may continue to bring showers through Wednesday morning. Then the rest of the week should be pleasant with our continued marine air flow. The Pacific Ocean has warmed to almost normal temperatures off the Washington Coast, which is why our days are getting a little warmer now.
Highlights for August 6th - 19th:
- No measurable precipitation since July 26th, 2011.
- Despite Seatac recording high temperatures breaking 85ºF on Saturday August 20th, and Sunday August 21st, Shoreline has remained cool. We had a high on Saturday of 82ºF falling below the 85ºF mark, and today we had a high temperature of 82.6ºF, Seatac had a high of 87ºF respectively.
