Cold beer and wine are sold, and there is plenty of food and soft drinks offered; ages 21 and over. Call to make reservations. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. and BINGO starts at 7:00 p.m.

Cooking with Chef Janice
The Chef Janice Cooking Classes are very popular. In August participants will be learning about cooking with summer’s bounty.  Come and explore the world of spices, foreign lands and local produce. Classes in August will be the 3rd and 17th.  Fee: Members $5, Non-Members $7.00 sign-up at the front desk.

News from the kitchen
The herb garden is planted and with a little attention, I believe, it will bare all the herbs we will need to cook up a storm at lunch and in cooking class.  If you are interested in helping cultivate, water and weed, please let Janice know.  The lunch participation has been steady, and on some days, growing.
As many know, the sous-chef has left us for greener pastures, so Janice is looking to fill the gap with some new volunteers.  If you are interested in helping one day or more a week with a 2+ hour shift, please contact Janice and figure out what great meals you can make together.
