Mayors fight juvenile sex ads in Seattle paper

After discussion at a Shoreline City Council dinner meeting, the Shoreline City Council supported Mayor McGlashan signing a letter with Seattle Mayor Mike McGinn and the mayors of Pullman, Moses Lake, Bellingham, Tacoma, Spokane and Kennewick protesting the policies of Backpage.com, owned by The Village Voice Media, whose ads have included juveniles used as escorts. The City also sent its own individual letter signed by the Mayor on behalf of the council.
