Matterhorn: a Novel of the Vietnam War by Karl Marlantes
June-August
Join us for the seventh annual Lake Forest Park Reads citywide literary event.
Karl Marlantes, a Woodinville resident, based this gripping novel on his first-hand experiences in Vietnam. Read the novel and participate in related events throughout the summer.
Sponsored by the City of Lake Forest Park's Library Advisory Committee, Friends of the Library, Friends of Third Place Commons and Third Place Books.

Legacy of the Vietnam War
Thursday, August 4, 7pm
Held in Third Place Commons.
Son Michael Pham, founder of Kids Without Borders, left Vietnam on the final day of the war and came to the U.S. as a refugee. He will share his memories of his native country and the ongoing legacy of the war.
