Former Lake Forest Park City Councilwoman Mary Jane Goss kept her portion of the mayoral primary above 50 percent in votes counted Wednesday.
Current Councilman and Deputy Mayor Dwight Thompson, her likely November opponent, has 46 percent.
Here are the Lake Forest Park totals through Wednesday:
Mayor
Dwight A. Thompson 1258 46.06%
Mary Jane Goss 1369 50.13%
Stan Lippmann 92 3.37%
Write-in 12 0.44%
I thought she was going to get 78% of the vote? Because, 78% of the voters think just like she does about how the City should be run.
