Former Lake Forest Park City Councilwoman Mary Jane Goss continued to lead the LFP mayoral primary as more results trickled in Friday.
The latest returns show Goss with 49.5 percent of the vote, compared to 47.0 percent for her likely November opponent, current City Councilman and Deputy Mayor Dwight Thompson.
Candidate Stan Lippmann apparently has been eliminated with 2.9 percent of the primary votes.
