Bothell may seem like a little far to go, but worth it to be sure that your child is actually protected by their car seat.
The American Academy of Pediatrics recently recommended keeping children up to two years old in rear facing seats or until they have reached the maximum height and weight limits of the car seat as allowed by the manufacturer.
National research on child safety seats has found they reduce fatal injury by 71 percent for infants younger than one year old and by 54 percent for toddlers in passenger cars.

The picture in this story is dangerously misleading. That is not a car seat and should not be represented as one. There are enough idiots out there who don't restrain their children in cars correctly without giving anyone the idea that thing is a car seat.
