Food Lifeline issues a challenge to 32nd district residents

Join your state legislators from the 32nd District on September 8th to help Food Lifeline end hunger in our communities during National Hunger Action Month.

To kick off the September month of actions here in Washington, our state legislators have accepted a challenge: can our district repack, sort and process more food than two other legislative districts to fill the shelves of our local food banks? They need your help!

Lend a hand on the sorting line at Food Lifeline’s Volunteer Action Center from 1:30-4 pm at 1702 NE 150th Street in Shoreline. Meet your legislators and your neighbors and make a difference for the nearly 1 in 6 Washington families who can’t afford to put enough food on the dinner table each night.

Have questions? Contact Food Lifeline’s volunteer department at 206-545-6600.

Bring a friend - adults and kids over age 6 are welcome.
The 32nd legislative district includes all of Shoreline, Lake Forest Park, Kenmore, and parts of Kirkland.
