All six Shoreline candidates will be at the Briarcrest candidate forum Thursday evening

All six candidates for Shoreline City Council will participate in the Briarcrest Candidate Forum Thursday evening, 7-8:30pm, August 25, 2011 at the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall, 14514 20th Ave NE, Shoreline WA 98155. (See previous article)

Doors open at 6:30pm for refreshments and informal conversation.  The candidate forum starts at 7pm and is scheduled to conclude at 8:30pm.

The participating candidates for the Shoreline City Council are:

Council Position No. 6

The general election in November will also have Shoreline School Board races. Briarcrest organizers were concerned that including the school board would mean too little time for each candidate to make statements and answer questions, so they chose not to include these races.

However, School Board candidates have been invited to be at the event to meet people informally.
