2011 Shorewood Harvest Dinner to be prepared by top Seattle chefs

The Shorewood High School Culinary Arts Garden – A Youth Education Garden sponsored by The Master Gardener Foundation of King County and Washington State University Extension will be holding their 2nd Annual Harvest Dinner on Saturday evening, August 27, 2011.

This special fundraising dinner will take place in the private home of Le Panier Bakery owner Kristi Drake which is located in the Innis Arden neighborhood of Shoreline, Washington.

The event begins at 6:00 pm with cocktails and a silent auction.

The multi-course dinner will be prepared by some of the top chefs from the Seattle area.

Brian Scheehser of Trellis
The cost is $200 per person which includes cocktails and wine. Seating is limited to 70 guests.

Tickets are available at the Master Gardener Foundation of King County website.

The proceeds from this special culinary evening will go directly to the Shorewood High School Culinary Arts Garden – A Youth Education Garden.

Susan Kaplan of Boat Street Café and Kitchen

Portions of the money raised will go the Shorewood High School Culinary Arts Program and to Food Lifeline.
