32nd Dems meet Wednesday, July 13 for popcorn and a movie

The 32nd District Democrats will meet on Wednesday, July 13, at 7 pm in the Shoreline Masonic Hall, 753 N 185th St, Shoreline WA 98133 (map).
Attendees will get to see "The Story of Stuff" - a 20-minute animation of the consumerist society, narrated by Anne Leonard.
The organization covers the cities of Kenmore, Lake Forest Park, Shoreline, and the Town of Woodway, and parts of the cities of Edmonds and Kirkland as well as parts of unincorporated Snohomish County.

So they watch a consumerist movie while consuming popcorn and consuming energy. All the while consuming fuel in order to drive there. Makes perfect sense! Or not . . .
It's obvious that "Anonymous" doesn't know anything about this movie or about the local Democrats.
Democrats are strongly advocating for transit, bike and walkable solutions to our traffic problems. Shoreline needs more options to driving, to be sure, but the reality is that most people here need to drive sometimes to get around. I'm sure that "Anonymous" never uses a car or never buys anything, right? Oh wait, I forgot that Anonymous is just living in his glass house throwing stones.
Furthermore, "The Story of Stuff" is ABOUT the consumerist society we live in, and how we can make a difference on reducing waste and reducing the need for excess stuff. Here is the website -
