The annual Shorecrest/Shorewood student film festival will be held Wednesday, May 18 at 7 p.m. in the Shorecrest High School theater.
The festival will feature the debut of the schools' joint documentary on The Social Experiment. Both schools participated in the experiment last December in which students turned off their social networks for a week. The Social Experiment attracted national attention, and the students and staff of both schools were selected as Persons of the Week by ABC World News Tonight with Diane Sawyer.
Student-produced music videos, short movies, movie trailers, animations, and commercials will also be featured.
Admission is free, but a donation of $5 is suggested.
