Update to yesterday's story about the missing sex offender from Snohomish County.
From the Snohomish County Sheriff's Office
Regarding Friday’s request for information concerning the whereabouts of Level 3 sex offender Charles Lee Johnson:
Our office just learned Charles Lee Johnson died March 19 in Tillamook, Oregon. We don’t have any other information regarding the circumstances of his death, nor do we know how long he had been in Oregon before he died.
Thank you all for getting his photo and information out there. We received a tip from a caller on our tip line that he had died and we verified it.
