Former Seahawk Brian Russell guest golfer at Wonderland event May 14

Wonderland Developmental Center, a Shoreline based nonprofit that provides services for infants and toddlers with disabilities, and their families, reports it is currently serving 108 clients.
This is the largest number served in the organization’s 42 year history of serving families in north King and South Snohomish Counties.
The rise in need places more importance on the success of Wonderland fundraising events, such as the upcoming golf tournament, dinner and auction this Saturday, May 14, at the Golf Club at Newcastle.
Now in its 12th year, the Justin Van Hollebeke Memorial Golf Tournament, Dinner and Auction is an opportunity for golfers and non-golfers to have fun and raise money for the organization in the process.
This year Wonderland is pleased to announce the participation as a guest golfer of former Seattle Seahawk Safety Brian Russell. In addition to other activities, Russell will be challenging other golfers to a putting contest.
The event will include a variety of golf related activities in addition to eighteen holes of play at the nationally recognized Golf Club at Newcastle. Registered golfers will also receive a one-year membership to “boxgroove.com,” a company that provides off-hour golfing at premium courses across the country.
Non-golfers can also enjoy a post tournament cocktail hour, auction and gourmet dinner, all with a breathtaking view of the Seattle area from the heights on which the links are located. Information on the day’s events can be obtained by calling Wonderland at 206-364-3777 or by visiting the website.
