Suspect took out the mailboxes |
The incident took place in the 10700 block of 244th Street Southwest at the King-Snohomish County line about 3:30 am. 244th SW is the other side of the street from NW 205th, marking the county line.
According to a King County Sheriff’s investigator at the scene, the suspect — who lives in the area — failed to negotiate a curve in the road and careened down a driveway where he took out some mailboxes and crashed into the home at the end of road.
The pursuit began near Gateway Plaza at N 182nd and Midvale and continued north, with the suspect crashing just over the county line.

A retired couple sleeping inside the home were uninjured and in fact weren’t aware of the crash until police told them, the sheriff’s investigator said.
