Not too late to donate to Prom Shop clothing drive

The latest information, including contact info for last minute donations this weekend, comes from the Shorewood PTA Family Service chairs:

Shoreline PTSA Council, Shorewood and Shorecrest schools and the City of Shoreline are all partnering in a Prom Night Clothing Drive. We are currently asking for gently used Prom attire to be donated by this weekend, and the shopping event will be at the Shoreline Rec Center on Monday, April 11, at 2:30pm.

If you know a student who would be interested, please contact Shoreline Recreation at 206-801-2600, or just show up.

We are in need of Prom Dresses, dress shoes, handbags, and jewelry for the young ladies, and for the young men we need dress suits or tuxedos, slacks and dress shirts, nice shoes, bow or regular ties.

This is the first time we have done this type of event, and are hopeful that we can continue to provide this type of support to the community, including HOMECOMING in the Fall...(so keep that in mind as well, as we will probably hold another drive late summer or early fall).
