What can one hundred volunteers do in one day?

Quite a bit - and ShorelineAreaNews photographer Steven H. Robinson has the photos to prove it.

Volunteers gathered on Saturday, April 2, 2011 for a ceremonial framing kick-off and then began work in earnest on the Jacob's Well housing complex for homeless women and children.

Some returned on Sunday to continue working. Habitat for Humanity people will be on-site Thursday to get things ready for the next work party on Saturday, April 9.

The project is owned and led by Vision-House which operates similar projects in South King county. Over a hundred local churches and businesses in Shoreline, Lake Forest Park and South Snohomish county are involved.

At the end of the day, much progress has been made. Photo by Steven H. Robinson.
If you have skills to share, sign up to help for one or more of the Saturdays in April.
