According to Seattle City Light, a tree that fell into power lines near Dayton Place N and Dayton Avenue N caused an outage in Shoreline affecting 3,100 customers this morning.
The outage started about 9:40 am. Full restoration is expected by 4:30 p.m. Crews were working to isolate the damage, which would bring back service for many of the affected customers much sooner.
The original boundaries of the outage were N. 205th Street on the north; N. 152nd Street on the south; Aurora Ave N. on the east; and 14th Ave NW on the west. Not all customers in those boundaries were affected.
