I got a call from this number on my cell phone, and no message was left. Does the Arts Council solicit for donations via phone calls? I did not volunteer my contact info for this, far as I can remember.
Hello Steve,
This is Lorie Hoffman from the Arts Council. We never solicit for donations via the phone, our primary fund drive is done through the mail. The only things we call about are business related, example: if you had submitted for a show and we needed to clarify your website address or something like that.

Hi Steve
This is Fred Wong, also from the Arts Council. I’d like to confirm what Lorie said. I notice that the phone number listed in the news item above is not our number. Must have been a misprint back in 2011. The Arts Council’s phone is and has always been 206-417-4645 (note area code).
