Shorewood High School Drill Team participated in the Decatur Dance and Drill Competition on Saturday, February 5. The team took first place in the military category and received an additional trophy for receiving the highest score overall for the day. There were 38 performances consisting of military, pom, dance, hip hop, kick and show.

Coaches Kathy Ross and Tiffany Bliss were thrilled with the team’s performance.
“The girls have been working very hard since their last competition two weeks ago, and their dedication to their team really paid off. The team increased their score significantly from their last competition at Hazen High School. Some of the biggest challenges are maintaining the high level of energy and showmanship required throughout the entire routine and doing every move ‘Shorewood Sharp.’ The girls achieved both, and we are so proud of them!”
