Shorecrest girls play for share of Wesco 3A title Wednesday after 10th straight victory Monday

The Shorecrest girls’ basketball team plays for a share of the Wesco 3A championship Wednesday after the Scots won their 10th straight game Monday.
A Shorecrest victory at Everett Wednesday would give the Scots (11-2 Wesco 3A, 12-7 overall) a tie with Lynnwood, which finished its regular season Monday with a 12-2 division record (17-3 overall).
Shorecrest and Everett (8-5 Wesco 3A, 13-6 overall) meet at 7:30 p.m. at Everett High School.
Shorecrest will play host to a Northwest District 3A tournament first-round game Feb. 9.
The Scots won their 10th straight game Monday with a 47-32 home victory over Oak Harbor (1-12, 2-16) in a game that ended Oak Harbor’s post-season hopes. Shorecrest led throughout the game. Brianne Lasconia led the Scots with 13 points; India Matheson contributed 11.
