Weather Highlights for the past week - freezing, inversion, snow, cold
- Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday lows were below freezing.
- Stage 1 Burn Ban was issued on Monday the 3rd and expired on Wednesday the 5th, due to a temperature inversion.
- Wednesday the 5th at about 6 in the evening we had wet snow showers which turned to rain as the warm front moved in. No accumulations.
- Friday evening cold air started moving back in, we started the day at 47.3ºF at midnight. By Friday night at 11:59PM the temperature was 35.4ºF (Setting the low for the entire day!)
Weather for the coming week:
It’s going to be interesting, it’s too early to really tell exactly what might happen, but generally, we’re going to average at or below freezing this week. Some of the precipitation will most likely fall as snow. No new updates from the national weather service yet on any watches or warnings. I’ll keep checking and let everyone know as soon as I see something.
