Shorewood boys return to Wesco 3A play Tuesday after 1-2 record in San Diego tournament

The Shorewood boys’ basketball team returns to Wesco 3A play Tuesday after a 1-2 record in the Surf ’N Slam Hoop Classic in San Diego, Dec. 28-30.

The Thunderbirds take a 5-5 record (2-2 Wesco 3A) into a 7:30 p.m. Tuesday home game with division leader Glacier Peak (4-0 Wesco 3A, 7-3 overall).

Shorewood finished the San Diego tournament with a 73-50 loss to Sacred Heart. The Thunderbirds led after the first quarter but quickly fell behind. Peter Berquist led Shorewood with 12 points. Gage Carroll and Josh Hawkinson each added 11.
