12-21...172xx 12 NE. Man and family go on vacation and leave family friend to watch the dogs. Family returns home to find $250 in gift cards stolen and fake $20 bills in trash can that were printed off of his printer.

12-21...160xx Burke N. Stopped a driver whose license was suspended for unpaid tickets and found marijuana and controlled substances in his car.

12-22...N 175/Ashworth. Drunk driver runs stop sign at intersection and collides with victim vehicle. Both drivers and one passenger are transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

12-24...170/Aurora. Driving with license revoked.

12-25...NE 183/12 NE. Resident reported man who was on the road, stopping and looking into windows of houses on the street. Police arrested him on a criminal warrant.

12-25...145xx Whitman N, apartments. Two males fighting in the parking lot. No victims. All parties intoxicated.

12-26...154/Aurora. Driving with revoked license.

12-27...NE 170/18 NE. Individual with warrants, lied to police about names. Charged with obstructing an officer.

Among the missing

12-15...201xx Whitman N, apartments. Subject's work called after he, uncharacteristically, missed work for a few days. Subject's wife stated that they got into an argument and she has not seen him in two weeks. He apparently has a drinking problem as well as medical problems.

12-23...172xx 8 NE. Missing person, last seen at the Pike Place Market.

12-24...178xx Burke Pl N. Juvenile runaway.

12-26...11xx N 180. Juvenile runaway. Chronic runner.

12-27...7xx N 200. Person took cab home from hospital and skipped out on fare.

12-27...16015 Evanston N, Ambitions Group Home. Resident missing. Victim is mildly retarded and cannot function on his own. Victim knows how to take the bus. (see story Have You Seen Tom?)

Among the found

12-22...15343 25 NE, Shorecrest. Custodian went in to one of the portable classrooms and found someone sleeping in it. Suspect entered through unlocked door, tossed papers around and slept there until custodian arrived. Gone before police arrived.

12-24...13xx N 185. Homeless man spent the night in church parking lot. Police found him stumbling along Ashworth around 18700. Unable to care for self, completely soaked in 48F weather and covered in his own feces.

They're after the mail again

12-22...201xx 8 NW. US Mail delivered package to front porch. Package stolen.

12-23...10xx NW 175. Mail stolen from mailbox in front of house.

Family matters

12-22...32xx NE 149. Extended family, one member has mental issues and self-medicates with alcohol. Family members had words and the one who was drunk grabbed knives and said he would kill anyone who tried to harm him.

12-22...11xx N 180, apartments. Underaged subject locked out of house and key taken away. Sought police assistance.

12-23...201xx Whitman N. Man chokes pregnant girlfriend and causes deputies to use force.

12-23...3xx NW RB Rd, apartments. Domestic violence, malicious mischief. Man kicked door in and damaged property.

12-23...178xx Burke Pl N. Domestic argument between father and son escalates to physical assault - father assaults son.

12-24...20xx NE 177. Young male, lives with grandmother, has a history of PTSD, ADHD, takes various medications. With grandmother, mother and step-father. Got mad and assaulted family.

12-24...30xx ME 145. Father reported that his son, who also lives with mother and boyfriend, has bruises on his leg and believes son is being abused.

12-25...189xx 10 NE. Physical altercation between friends/roommates. Male half booked for 4th degree assault.

Death

12-25...171xx 15 NE. Death from natural causes.

12-27...155xx Aurora. Call receiver with Island County received a 911 phone call from a telephone booth from an anonymous female. The female spoke Chinese. Information was gathered via the language line. Female said that the massage parlor at listed location is providing sexual services.
