Shorecrest boys take 3-2 Wesco 3A record into Friday home game after Tuesday victory over MLT

Shorecrest takes a 3-2 Wesco 3A record (6-5 overall) into a 7:30 p.m. Friday home game with Oak Harbor (1-4 Wesco 3A, 2-9 overall) after the Scots won a 45-38 game at Mountlake Terrace (3-3. 4-6) Tuesday.

Shorecrest took a 21-8 first-quarter lead Tuesday and hung to defeat Mountlake Terrace, which outscored the Scots in the second and third periods. Emanuel Chibuogwu Jr. led Shorecrest with 16 points. Keith Shattuck added 14.

Chibuogwu leads the Scots in season scoring with 191 points in 11 games. Shattuck has 130 in the 11 games.
