Shorecrest boys play at Everett Tuesday after overtime win over Oak Harbor Friday

The Shorecrest boys’ basketball team takes a 4-2 Wesco 3A record (7-5 Overall) into a Tuesday game at Everett (1-4 Wesco 3A, 3-8 overall) after a one-point overtime home victory over Oak Harbor Friday.
In the 45-44 overtime victory over Oak Harbor (1-5, 2-10), Shorecrest held a four-point lead after three quarters, but the Wildcats came back in the fourth to force overtime.
Shorecrest held off Oak Harbor in the overtime period despite playing the game without its leading scorer, Junior Chibuogwu. Keith Shattuck and Trevor McCoy picked up the slack with 17 and 16 points, respectively.
Chibuogwu averaged 17.4 points for Shorecrest’s first 11 games. Shattuck has averaged 2.3 points for 12 games.
