SCC Women’s Basketball Defeats Olympic College

The Lady Dolphins of Shoreline Community College collected their first conference win of the season against Olympic College on Wednesday night in the SCC Gym.

After a slow start, SCC took control in the second half, holding a 10 point lead most of the second period. SCC was led by sophomore Lynsey Sandum, who scored 22 points and had 10 rebounds. Kylie Williams added 12 points for the Dolphins as well.

Shoreline is now 5-5 on the year, 1-1 in the NWAACC Northern Region. Shoreline travels to Skagit Valley College on Saturday to play the Lady Cardinals and then return home on Monday at 5:30 PM to take on North Seattle CC. SCC also faces Whatcom CC on Wednesday night at home as well. Olympic fell to 3-8 overall and 0-3 in the region.
