QuickStart Lunch n Learn, Tuesday, January 11

Monday, January 10, 2011

The Tuesday Lunch and Learn for start-up business owners, January 11, 12 noon to 1:30 pm at Shoreline City Hall, 17500 Midvale Avenue N, is presented by Shoreline Community College Small business Accelerator and the city of Shoreline.  The sessions are free; bring a brown bag lunch.

This week's topic is "Bringing customers to your business, bringing them to Shoreline" and is part of a quarterly Automotive Industry workshop series.

"If you are in the automotive industry or want to learn principles that apply advancing business and partnering with local resources, this is for you!

Have you wondered how you are perceived by your prospective customers and what you can do to gain the trust of your current customers?

We will be talking about the importance of branding in your industry and how to develop marketing strategies that will reach your current and future generations of customers.

We will also explore the concepts of building a unified local branding strategy and how we can work with each other to create a strong automotive attraction here in the City of Shoreline with the vast unified resources that we have here.

Prepare to get revved up by local automotive event promoter and emcee, Brian Canfield. With 15 years in sales and account management experience along with his passion for directing large public events, he has developed an interest in long-term business strategies and project management. His strong marketing background, with industry leading companies such as Bose Corporation and Philips Consumer Electronics have allowed him to completely turn around events like the Greenwood Car Show, resulting in triple digit increases in nearly every area. He also enjoys working with the Shoreline community."
