Matter of Balance Classes offered
Three sessions of the popular Matter of Balance Classes will be held during 2011; winter, spring and fall. Funding for the classes is provided through a special grant from the Shoreline Fire Department. Our very qualified instructors are looking forward to leading this important class that helps seniors learn how to maintain balance, understand why it can be an issue, and enjoy some fun exercises that improve balance skills. The class is eight weeks long and the winter class will be on Wednesdays, February 2nd through March 23rd, 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Participants need to plan on attending all sessions in order to get maximum benefit from the instruction. Sign-up sheets are available at the Senior Center Front Desk or call 206-365-1536.
