At Shoreline Pool

Shorewood co-captains Thor Stenfjord and Mackey Hopen continued to add State qualifying times as the Thunderbirds defeated Shorecrest.

Stenfjord swam qualifying times in the 200-yard Individual medley and the 500 freestyle and swam on the qualifying 400 freestyle relay team. In earlier meets he had met state qualifying standards in the 50- and 100-yard freestyle races, the 100 butterfly, 100 backstroke, 200 freestyle relay and 200 medley relay.

Hopen swam qualifying times against Shorecrest in the 50- and 100-yard freestyle races and the 400 freestyle relay. He had earlier qualified in the 100 freestyle, 100 butterfly, 100 breaststroke, 200 freestyle relay and 200 medley relay.

Against Shorecrest, Trevor Ransom and Colin Bell joined Hopen and Stenfjord on the qualifying 400 freestyle relay team,

Shorecrest won every event in defeating Lynnwood and Meadowdale in a double dual meet. Shorecrest improved its season record to 5-2 and its Wesco 3A record to 2-2.
