Democratic 32nd District State Rep. Ruth Kagi will continue as chairwoman of the State House committee on early learning and human services when the 2011 Legislature convenes January 10.
Kagi will continue to serve on the House ways and means committee and the health and human services appropriations and oversight committee.
Democratic 32nd District State Sen.-elect Maralyn Chase will become vice chairwoman of the Senate economic development, trade and innovation committee and will serve on the Senate environment, water and energy committee, and the Senate government operations, tribal relations and elections committee.
Democratic 32nd District State Rep.-elect Cindy Ryu will have a position on the House rules committee, and serve on the transportation committee and the Business & Financial Services committee.
