Shorewood girls get second win Monday over Cascade

The Shorewood girls’ basketball team got its second victory of the season Monday over Cascade of the Wesco 4A South.

Shorewood takes a 2-4 overall record (1-2 Wesco 3A) into a 7:30 p.m. Wednesday Wesco 3A home game against Everett.

In the Thunderbirds' 59-48 loss to Cascade, Masha Shtikel had 18 points for Shorewood. Jennifer Franklin (16 points) and Erin Ellersick (14) also scored in double figures for the Thunderbirds.
