Shorecrest boys take 2-2 record into Wesco 3A opener Friday

The Shorecrest boys’ basketball team takes a 2-2 record into its Wesco 3A opener Friday at Glacier Peak.
            

The Scots start Wesco 3A play after defeating Edmonds-Woodway, of the Wesco 4A South 57-53, in a Wednesday home game.
            

Glacier Peak is 1-1 after defeating a visiting Australian team Tuesday.
            

In Shorecrest’s 57-53 victory over Edmonds-Woodway, Keith Shattuck hit back-to-back 3-point goals with less than 3 minutes to play to give the Scots the win.
 

Emmanuel Chibuogwu Jr. had his lowest scoring output of the season with 13 points, but he added nine rebounds for Shorecrest.
 

Chibuogwu has scored 85 points in the Scots’ first four games.
