Did you make it to the Senior Center Holiday Show? How about St. Dunstan's Canterbury Faire?
You've got one more chance - don't waste it!
The Northwest Holiday Artists' Show, now in its 37th year at the Edmonds Unitarian Universalist Church, will be on Sunday, from 10 am to 5 pm at 8109 224the St SW, just a short distance up Hwy 99 into Snohomish County (turn left on 224th).
It's a spectacular event, pulling artists from all over Puget Sound in a wide variety of arts, both practical and decorative or both, like the wearable art.
There's an entire room of gourmet food, including chocolate sculpture pieces, apples, and pasta.
The white trees are candles - but who could burn them?
The big sellers this year are the glass artists but the returning favorites always do well, like the artist who make whimsical pieces to wear which honor different professions - teacher, nurse, letter carrier. There was a beautiful leaf vase meant to hang on the wall. Notecards, scarves, handmade soap - did I mention chocolate?
Several booths have creative jewelry, like these triangle earrings by Sarah Henderson.
Sunday is the last day of the show and then it will disappear into the mists, like Brigadoon, not to be seen for another year.
$2.00 donation includes free parking, refreshments, free childcare.
