My vote was counted - was yours?

Friday, November 5, 2010

You can track the status of your ballot through the King County Elections website.

It's not quite as good as the UPS tracking system, but it tells you whether your ballot was received, and whether your signature was verified - which means that your vote was counted.

Go to the website, scroll down the right column to "Mail Ballot Tracking" "Track your ballot packet." Click and all you need to do is fill in your name and birth date. You don't even need that strip they make you tear off your ballot.

My ballot went in the Drop Box at Lake Forest Park City Hall on Sunday, October 31, and would have been picked up that evening.  Today it shows as verified. If this is a measure for the rest, most of the ballots should be counted in a couple of work days.
