More cute kids at the Indoor Playground

Who can resist cute kids in Halloween costumes? The whole candy industry is based on it.

Here are more photos from the Halloween party at the Spartan Recreation Center on Friday, October 29. Over 179 toddlers and preschoolers in costume did Halloween crafts, coloring contests, and a fishing pond.

The Indoor Playground is held at a gymnasium in the Spartan Recreation Center, 202 NE 185th, Shoreline 98155. It's next to the stadium but the entrance is through the Shoreline Conference Center south parking lot on N 185th. The gym is filled with big toys likes slides and climbing toys, pint-sized basketball hoops, all sizes of balls, and lots of room to run and play.

It's a great place for housebound preschoolers, aged 1-5, and their caretakers.

The Indoor Playground program runs Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Parents, guardians or caregivers are responsible for supervising their children. The cost is $2 per child and punch cards available. For more information, see the Parks webpage  or call 206-801-2600.
