Mountlake Terrace earned a 26-24, 25-20, 25-14 home Wasco 3A victory. Liana Samuelson had eight kills and Casey Hynes dished out 24 assists for Terrace (1-2 league Shorecrest’s record fell to 1-2 in league play, 2-5 overall.

Wednesday, October 6

Shorecrest 3, Lynnwood 0

Emily Corona had 12 kills to lead Shorecrest to a three-game home sweep of Wesco 3A rival Lynnwood (1-3 league, 5-3 overall) by scores of 25-19, 25-19 and 25-18. Elisa Ahern added nine kills and six blocks while her Scots (2-2, 3-5) teammate, Stephanie Taylor, provided 22 assists. Marina Stoermer had six kills. The next play at Oak Harbor Tuesday, Oct. 12, at 7 p.m.

Glacier Peak 3, Shorewood 1

Glacier Peak won a 25-23, 21-25, 26-24, 25-19 Wasco 3A match, Shorewood (2-2, 4-4) was led by Monica Postor with 14 digs and six kills, Carolyn Stransky (38 assists and 16 digs) and Madison Welsh (13 kills). Shorewood plays host to Lynnwood Tuesday at 7 p.m.
