Prep Tennis: Shorewood 3 Meadowdale 4

The Shorewood boys tennis team wrapped up their WESCO 3A tennis season with a close hard fought loss to league champions Meadowdale Mavericks. Senior dominated Meadowdale won 4-3 over the young T-Birds. Winners for the T-Birds were Miles Jamieson at number three singles, Trevor Cronin at number four singles and Isaac Brengelmanand Matt Buswell at number three doubles. Miles Jamieson finished his season with a undefeated 14-0 record at number three singles in WESCO 3A.

Season wrap up:

The young Shorewood boys tennis team placed third in the WESCO 3A tennis league with a 10-4 record.

The T-Birds accomplished their season goal of placing in the top three teams of the league. The team will be returning all of their top singles and doubles players except for senior Ellis Miyaoka at number one doubles. Many of the teams will be losing 6 or more seniors while Shorewood returns a very talented and experienced line up led by number one singles Hunter Nelson.

The T-Birds will be a strong favorite for next seasons league championship.
