With 43 women and about 22 tents, nearly $18,000 was raised from the Shoreline "Sleep-Out"

The Women Helping Women - Shoreline Sleep-Out event happened on September 24 at Shoreline Covenant Church. The total to date (and money is still coming in) is: $17,616, including the matching gifts.

The original goal was to match a challenge pledge of $4,000. When a second matching gift was pledged, the group did not assume they would be able to match it. However, they not only matched both pledges, they exceeded them.

The dollars raised will go to help purchase the lumber needed to start the framing on the Jacob’s Well project and bring more housing and support services to homeless moms and kids. Vision House plans to start framing right after the waterline is installed (permits in process) and the weather allows.
