Celebrate Halloween affordably by shopping for costumes at Goodwill
Shoreline Goodwill is the place to shop for Halloween costumes. Why? People can find great-looking costumes at prices that fit their budgets.
The store has tons of costume options that are silly, scary, spooky or sweet. Choose from great selections of new or gently used costumes that cost a fraction of those at pricier costume stores. Even better, use your imagination while browsing rows of clothing and accessories to create a unique look for Halloween. The store also stocks face paint, wigs and other accessories to put the finishing touches on your creation. The possibilities are endless!
Store Costume Consultants
Need help putting a costume together or finding the right items for your outfit? Work with the store’s Costume Consultants. They will be available every Saturday and Sunday in October from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. to help shoppers create a unique look!
“You don’t have to pay a lot of money to put together a terrific costume or decorate your home, so head to Goodwill for all of your Halloween needs. Folks know we have the best selection at the best value. What’s more, when you shop at Goodwill, you’re funding our job training and education programs that help get people working and supporting themselves and their families,” said Cindi Forslund, Goodwill’s Vice President for Retail Operations.
Halloween Costume Contest
Goodwill wants to see the costumes people have created. That’s why it is sponsoring a Halloween Costume Contest. To enter, snap a photo of yourself in the costume you created from Goodwill finds and e-mail it to halloween@seattlegoodwill.org from Oct. 4-27. Five winners, chosen on Oct. 29, will receive Goodwill gift cards and select autographed Seattle Storm merchandise. The photos can be viewed on Goodwill’s Facebook (www.facebook.com/seattlegoodwill) and Twitter (twitter.com/seattlegoodwill) pages.
