Shorecrest, Shorewood volleyball teams meet Thursday

The Shorecrest and Shorewood volleyball teams play Thursday at 7 p.m. at Shorecrest. It will be the second meeting of the season between the two. Shorecrest won the first match 3 games to 2 at Shorewood September 28.

Shorewood comes into game after defeating Everett 3-2 Tuesday. Ahead 2-0, Everett collapsed in the final three games. Shorewood won 17-25, 15-25, 25-21, 25-18, 15-13 in a Wesco 3A match. Shorewood’s Carolyn Stransky had 34 assists, 14 digs and three aces.

Shorecrest comes into the game after a 3-2 loss to Glacier Peak. Shorecrest won the first two games, but Glacier Peak crawled back to win 18-25, 23-25, 25-22, 25-23, 15-7.
