I’m with Stupid
9-20…150/Bothell Wy. Traffic stop. Driver had a car full of Roman Candle fireworks. When asked why he was carrying them around in his car, he said “because I’m stupid.” Fireworks were confiscated for destruction.
9-21…192xx Forest Park Dr. Two 911 hang-ups. Went to address and found a Qwest employee who put equipment on the line, probable cause of calls. Advised him to tell alarm company in advance next time.
9-21…148xx Bothell Wy. Wallet stolen while helping friend move. Called bank. Called police. Found wallet.
9-24…165xx 35 NE. Alarm. Husband left house and forgot to turn off alarm.
9-26…154xx Bothell Wy. Barefoot man stumbling down street. Fell into traffic lane and nearly hit by car. Driver called police. Subject was kicked out of friend’s car without shoes. Transported him to Kenmore.

And what were you drinking?
9-20…37xx NE 157. Caller said there was a car parked on her lawn. Neighbor came home late and didn’t realize he was on her lawn.
9-21…148xx Bothell Wy. Traffic stop. Driving on wrong side of road, using northbound turn lane when she was southbound. No insurance.
9-23…147xx Bothell Wy. Driving wrong way in lane.
9-26…153xx Bothell Wy. Report of woman lying on ground and screaming. Then she was seen walking down Bothell Way. Clerk at market said she tried to steal a beer but he made her put it back. Located her. Drunk, headed for brother’s home. Helped her get there.
9-25…35xx NE 195. Edmonds Landscaping port-a-potty was tipped over and traffic cones were gone from work site.

Drama
9-20…18500 37th, LFP Elementary. Principal called to report that a father had not picked up his two children after school and the kids couldn’t contact him. Kids said that dad just had back surgery, was on pain meds and sometimes hard to wake. Police went to home and father’s truck was there. Entered the home and found dad on the bathroom floor, conscious but dizzy. Said he was having trouble adjusting to new pain meds. He was transported to Stevens Hospital and his sister picked up the kids.
9-20…155xx Beach Dr. Resident woke up to a woman outside screaming “god no!” Police checked Trail, talked to bicyclists, area clear.
9-20…40 NE /Ballinger. Road rage. Tried to run car off road. Started in Shoreline so they get the case.
9-24…175xx Ballinger. Neighbor went outside to take out trash and neighbor’s son is aggressive and yelling at her. “Angry like a caged animal.” He has been living in parents’ garage but is being evicted.
9-23…174xx Beach Dr NE. Alarm. Alarm company called to cancel. Then called to request police. No apparent problems at house.
9-23…NE 165/Bothell Wy. Traffic accident. Aid car for driver. Tow truck for car. Fire called when engine started smoking.
9-24…189xx Forest Pk Dr NE. Caller says there’s a man in her back yard. He knocked on her door but she didn’t open it. Police found him. He’s a solicitor for European Tree Care. Not carrying a permit. Apologized for startling the homeowner.
9-24…Towne Centre. Witness saw an altercation between a bicyclist and a man with his family. The bicyclist left. The man was mad at her for calling police, so she locked herself in her car. Police could not locate.
9-25…25xx NE 178. Crisis line asked for welfare check on woman who reported taking pills. Contacted woman, who didn’t want to talk, said she was home with children. Dispatcher heard male voice in background and woman hung up. Went to home to check. Woman is depressed, on medication, seeing therapist. Did not overdose. Miscommunication with crisis line.

All in the Family
9-20…174/Ballinger. Man came to police station to add to the list of items stolen in a burglary at his home last week. Police have no report of burglary. His son was supposed to report it. The prime suspect is his son’s friend.
9-21…30xx NE 203. Juvenile runaway returned home.
9-22…30xx NE 182. Runaway juvenile male. 9th grade Shorecrest. Has been getting in trouble, using drugs.
9-23…45xx NE 170. Juvenile runaway. Teenaged son said goodnight, went to bedroom and crawled out the window. Returned next morning, had been with girlfriend.

Group homes are not boring
9-21…187xx 35 NE, group home. Female yelling for an ambulance, throwing plates, hit employee with phone. Arrested, transported, fingerprinted, released.
9-22…33xx NE 190. DD group home. Housemates having a dispute. Cops helped them talk it through to an agreement, but original caller wasn’t really satisfied.
9-25…185xx 36 Pl NE. Group home resident out of control, called 911.
9-26…30xx NE 205, adult family home. Bipolar resident acting up, trying to break doors and windows to get out. Only one staff person there, two others have left. Staff person evasive about why he was there alone.

And a couple for the Elks
9-24…145xx Bothell Wy, Elks. Man walking through parking lot, sweating profusely. Says he’s trying to get off drugs.
9-25…14540 Bothell Wy, Elks. Contacted subject behind Elks. Said he was waiting for a bus to Mill Creek but doesn’t like to wait at bus stop, so he was hanging out and dancing.

Experiencing technical difficulties
9-21…47xx NE 204. 911 call. Accidentally hit phone button.
9-21…Towne Centre, SCC space. Man who came to pick up the copy machine tripped the motion sensor alarm, which was supposed to be off.
9-21…158xx 36 NE. Alarm. Checked interior with homeowner. ADT installed new sensors yesterday, will have them come back and recheck.
9-21…158xx 36 NE. Alarm, again. Has been having problems all day.
9-21…49xx NE 204. 911 hang-up from business line.
9-25…20150 45 NE, Onnuri Church. Alarm. Company cancelled, good codes.
9-26…Towne Centre. Helped elderly female who was locked out of car.
9-26…203xx 44 NE. Home owner locked out. Helped him in through window.
9-26…36xx NE 195. 911 hang-up. House full of people, voices conversing in background. No one in distress.

Cars, cars, cars, always cars
9-21…NE 157 Pl/Bothell Wy. Abandoned vehicle.
9-21…150xx Bothell Wy. Car prowl.
9-22…145xx Bothell Wy. Report of drag racing. Could not locate.
9-23…185xx 25 NE. Car prowl
9-24…14558 Bothell Wy, Déjà vu parking lot. Someone backed into parked car and left. Manager reviewed the security tapes. Has picture of driver but no license number.
9-25…165xx 41 NE. Car prowl.
9-25…167xx Shore Dr NE. Used a hide-a-key to get into vehicle. Trashed it, took laptop and wallet.

Lost, Found, and Looking for …
9-21…45xx NE 201 Pl. Public Works staff found the top to an ATM.
9-21…45xx NE 203. Report of peddlers. Could not locate.
9-22…Towne Centre. Shoplifter stole 3 sweatshirts.
9-22…35xx NE 147. Citizen found a wallet and is trying to return it. Owner has moved. Police suggested the wallet be left with them.
9-23…17001 Bothell Wy, Subway. Report of panhandler trying to get money from customers. Could not locate.
9-25…47xx NE 178. Dog on the loose. Animal control can’t respond, officer out sick. Finder took dog to its home but no one there. Dog sitter called police after owner called her. Said dog was escape artist and got out of her back yard.
9-25…29xx NE 182. Neighbor saw black male with long hair in braid and white female with brown hair in pigtail trying to force open neighbor’s garage door. Called police but waited 20 minutes because she had an appointment. Could not locate.

Meet the new neighbors
9-25…148xx Bothell Wy. Loud party. House-warming, was already breaking up when police arrived.
